Doctor Michelle Perry
Doctor of Physical Therapy, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, COMT
As a young girl, I wanted to be an optometrist. I played “eye doctor” with my siblings, kept medical charts of them, and looked into their eyeballs at least twice each month. I pursued my dream of becoming an optometrist, graduated college and was heading into Optometry school.
One day, I was in a terrible car accident that resulted in my inability to be able to walk, sit or stand. My life was forever changed.
I was in terrible pain and attended physical therapy as a result. My physical therapist ended up being my biggest blessing. He was a highly specialized manual therapist; had the ability to get me out of pain in a matter of weeks and then challenge my body in such a way where I was able to resume walking and functioning again.
Although my journey through physical therapy was challenging, it was transformational.
It changed the trajectory of my life and I made a decision to become a highly specialized Doctor of Physical Therapy in order to drastically impact the lives of my patients and their family members.

ABIDE’S PHILOSOPHY
At Abide Physical Therapy, We Believe Pain Has a Story.
Pain is often a symptom of an underlying movement, mechanical, neuromuscular, or tissue dysfunction—not simply the problem itself.
Our mission isn’t simply to help you feel better for a few days.
Our goal is to help you understand your body, restore the way it was designed to move, and give you the confidence to return to the activities that matter most.
Whether your goal is playing with your children, returning to the gym, competing in your sport, hiking, gardening, or simply getting through your workday without pain, we’re here to help you get there.

It’s about knowing you’re ready.
Dr. Kalik incorporates objective, quantitative technology into return-to-sport testing to help identify strength, movement, and performance deficits that may not be obvious during a traditional evaluation. This allows your rehabilitation to be more targeted, measurable, and specific to the demands of your sport or activity.
At Abide, Dr. Kalik believes the best results happen when patient and clinician work together as a team. He enjoys working with motivated individuals who are ready to put in the work and take an active role in their recovery.
Your goal isn’t just to feel better.
Your goal is to get back to YOU.
And that’s exactly what Dr. Kalik wants to help you do.
